
Junior AV Technician (Temporary Contract)

Assist with setting up and packing down AV equipment (PA systems, projectors, mics, screens, etc.)
Support our lead technicians on-site at events
Carry out basic testing and preparation of kit at our warehouse
Drive company vehicles to and from venues (local and regional travel)
Work directly with clients to ensure their needs are understood and met
Help maintain our equipment and storage area

A full UK driving licence (essential)
Some experience with live events or AV kit (preferred, but not essential – the right attitude matters more)
A strong work ethic and attention to detail
Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
A calm, helpful manner with clients – we put service before tech jargon
Flexibility to work long days, including evenings and weekends when needed
Someone who’s reliable, punctual, and unflappable under pressure

We’re on track to deliver over 600 events this year, so we’re looking for a dependable and hardworking Junior AV Technician to join our team during a busy stretch. This is a hands-on, physically active role that’s ideal for someone with a practical mindset and a keen interest in live events and technology.
While this is a temporary position, there may be an opportunity to extend the role or make it permanent, depending on business needs — though this is not guaranteed.
