The Total Performance Summit 2026, Titanic Hotel Belfast
When Jonny Pierce hosted the latest edition of The Total Performance Summit at Titanic Hotel Belfast, AXL was appointed by JP Coaching Ltd to deliver the full conference AV — sound, staging, presenter visuals and a 4m x 2.5m LED video wall.
The Total Performance Summit is Jonny's flagship coaching event — a focused gathering for business owners, founders and senior leaders working on the operating systems behind better performance. The May 2026 edition brought a curated audience of under 100 delegates into the Titanic Hotel for a single, content-heavy afternoon and evening — keynote-led, interactive, and built around quality of conversation rather than scale. It was also a return booking. AXL delivered Jonny's Built for Better Business event at Titanic Hotel in December 2025, and the Summit was the next step in an ongoing relationship.

The Brief
For a sub-100 audience, scale isn't the brief — quality is. Jonny's events are filmed, the content gets reused across his channels long after the day, and delegates pay a premium to be in the room. That meant the AV had to do three things:
Make the stage look as good as anything you'd see at a large conference, without overwhelming a tightly held audience
Deliver clean, broadcast-ready audio that captures well for content reuse afterwards
Give Jonny full hands-free presenter control so he could work the room properly
Our Solution
LED Video Wall — The Visual Centrepiece
The room was anchored by a 7m x 2m ultrawide LED video wall at 2.9mm pixel pitch — high enough resolution for close-range viewing, which matters when delegates are seated only a few rows back. The wall was built from Gloshine DN 2.9 panels, on a 1m stage riser and ballasted with Doughty stage weights and dressed cleanly into the room.
Slide content and any cued visuals were routed through a Pixelhue P10 vision mixer, giving us full control over what hit the wall at any moment and the headroom to handle multiple sources if the format demanded it.
Sound — Built for Voice First
The PA was built around a four-box active Electro-Voice system (two 8" tops and two 12" tops) running off a Yamaha DM3 digital console. The DM3 is a newer-generation desk we use a lot for spoken-word events — clean preamps, fast scene recall, and a footprint that doesn't dominate the back of the room.
For a coaching summit where voice is the primary signal, that combination delivers clarity and intelligibility without colouration. Clean audio at the desk also makes post-event content capture and reuse significantly easier.
Microphones — Built for a Working Host
Jonny presents on the move, so the mic package was built around that. A Sennheiser headset kept him hands-free for the main keynote segments, with a Sennheiser SK100 G3 body pack as the radio link. Five Sennheiser e835 G3 handheld wireless mics were rigged across two Sennheiser G3 EW100 4-way racks, ready for Q&A, panel segments, and any hosted interaction across the room. A 40" comfort monitor sat at the front of the stage, concealed behind a black fabric panel so it disappeared from the audience view, with a USB clicker for slide control. Small details, but they're what let a speaker present confidently without breaking flow.

Delivery & Technical Support
The full build was delivered in a half-day window on Thursday 14th May, from 14:00 load-in through to 22:00 de-rig. Three AXL crew handled the day — one technician overseeing operation through the event, with two additional crew on installation and de-rig — keeping the timeline tight in a venue that doesn't leave much room for overrun.
The Result
The Total Performance Summit 2026 delivered exactly the kind of premium, content-led experience Jonny's audience books in for — clean stage visuals, broadcast-quality audio, and a presenter setup that let him work the room properly without anything technical getting in his way.
A great return booking with JP Coaching Ltd following our work on Built for Better Business, and another reminder of why Titanic Hotel continues to be one of our favourite venues for tightly held, high-value business events in Belfast.
