The technical production team behind event agencies across Ireland

Trade rates, quotes within 24 hours, crew who turn up as your team. Your client stays your client.

If you run an events agency, technical production is the part of the job you can't do yourself and can't afford to get wrong. Your name is on the event. Your client is in the room. The screen, the sound and the lighting are somebody else's kit and somebody else's crew, and you're the one who answers for them.

AXL works as the production partner behind event agencies in Belfast, Dublin and across Ireland. We plan, supply, build and run the sound, LED screens, lighting, staging, rigging, power, cameras and streaming for the conferences, awards nights, gala dinners and launches you're producing. We work in your name where you want us to, and in the background where you'd prefer.

We do this on over 300 events a year. A good share of them are yours, not ours.

What you’re actually buying

Every agency wants something slightly different from a production supplier, and often something different on each job. So we don't have one model. We have three, and you choose per event.

Partner, production team, or invisible. Your call.

Named partner

We're AXL, you're the agency, your client knows both. We join your planning calls, attend the site visit, and deal directly with the venue on the technical side so you don't have to. Paperwork is ours, on our letterhead, and we're happy to be introduced as your production partner. Most agency work runs this way.

Fully white label

Nothing in the room says AXL. RAMS, drawings, running orders and delivery notes are issued in your format or on your letterhead, crew introduce themselves as your team if asked, and the end client never sees our name. We don't contact your client afterwards, we don't add them to any list, and we don't use the event in our marketing without your say-so.

Your production team

We're introduced as your technical team. Crew wear plain black, kit arrives without branding, and your client's questions come through you unless you'd rather they didn't. Quotes and invoices go to you only. Useful when you're building a long-term account and want the client to see one supplier, not two.

Whichever way you work with us, the commercial relationship is with you. We quote you, we invoice you, and your client is yours. That's the whole point.

Trade rates, and a relationship that gets better with volume

We offer trade rates to event agencies, and a commission structure for agencies who'd rather present our quote to their client with their margin built in. Which one suits you depends on how you bill your clients, and we'll work to either.

For agencies bringing us regular work, we'll agree a standing rate card so you can budget without a quote for every enquiry.

We don't publish our rates. Ask, and we'll send them.

Same day, every time

An agency enquiry gets a reply the same working day. A quote follows within 24 hours for most events. Where a job needs a site survey or a venue conversation before we can price it accurately, we'll tell you that on day one and give you a date.

We know how agencies work. The pitch is due, the client is waiting, and "we'll get back to you next week" costs you the job. So we don't say it.

Belfast, Dublin and the rest of Ireland, with one crew

We run events across Northern Ireland and the Republic as a matter of routine, so an agency with clients in both jurisdictions deals with one supplier, one rate card and the same crew whether the event is at Titanic Belfast or the Gibson in Dublin. We also travel further for the right job.

Venues we've built in recently include Titanic Belfast, Titanic Hotel Belfast, the Europa Hotel, St George's Market,Whitla Hall at Queen's, Galgorm Resort, the Great Northern Hotel in Bundoran, the Gibson Hotel, City North Hotel and the Alex Hotel in Dublin. If your client has booked one of those, we already know the room.

Agencies we partner with

We work with multiple agencies, including Callow Events, ASG Comms, plannd and Libra Events, alongside our direct clients including NI Chamber of Commerce, Deloitte, BBC, A&L Goodbody, Fujitsu, Visit Belfast and Benenden Health.

Over 300 events a year. 5.0 from 80+ Google reviews.

Frequently Asked Questions

Send us the brief, even a rough one

A venue, a date, a guest count and a sense of what the client wants to see is enough for us to come back with a first price and the questions that will sharpen it. If you've got a pitch due, tell us the deadline and we'll work to it.
