Built for Better Business, Titanic Hotel, Belfast

Team AXL were proud to sponsor the Built for Better Business – Health & Wellbeing Evening at the Titanic Hotel Belfast. The event brought together business owners, leaders, and teams for an evening focused on mindset, wellbeing, and healthier approaches to work and life. It was great to work alongside Jonny Pierce and his team, who delivered a brilliant programme of speakers and conversations.

A Clean, Impactful Setup

As one of the event sponsors, we supplied a setup designed to elevate the evening without overwhelming the space — something modern, bright, and effective for a room focused on people and stories.

We installed a 4m x 2.5m LED video wall, raised on 1m staging, giving speakers a crisp, high-impact backdrop for visuals, titles, and video content. This played a central role in the room, helping anchor the event and give the space a professional, polished feel. The LED wall and staging were supplied as part of our sponsorship package, along with lighting and support on the night.

To keep things running smoothly for presenters, we also provided a comfort monitor, presentation control, and switching, so cues and content transitions were seamless throughout.

Lighting & Atmosphere

To match the tone of the evening — calm, engaging, and audience-focused — we added a simple lighting package featuring uplighters and washes to frame the stage and create a warm ambience. This helped make the room feel welcoming while still giving the stage the emphasis it needed.

Sound & Microphone Support

From the technical quote, the event required a compact audio setup including L-acoustics X8 PA speakers, a Yamaha DM3 digital console, and a mix of handheld and headset mics to support speakers comfortably on stage . The aim was to keep sound clean and unobtrusive — just enough to carry the room while staying out of the way of the dialogue-led format.

A Smooth Evening with a Great Team

With our technician onsite to handle delivery, setup, operation, and de-rig , the evening ran exactly as planned. The room looked great, the atmosphere was spot on, and the speakers had everything they needed to deliver confidently.
