Catalyst Inbound Investors Event, Titanic Hotel Belfast
In September 2023, Catalyst hosted its Inbound Investors event in Belfast, bringing together over 50 venture capital firms from the UK, Ireland, and the US with more than 45 high-growth startups and scale-ups from Northern Ireland.
The event focused on building connections, opening funding opportunities, and supporting companies at key stages of growth, from Pre-Seed through to Series A. Team AXL were onsite to provide AV support across the event, helping ensure everything ran smoothly throughout the day.
The Setup
The event required a straightforward, reliable setup that could support multiple presentations, conversations, and networking moments across the space.
We supplied a range of display screens, including 85”, 65”, and 55” displays, positioned to ensure content was visible across the room and in key areas. These screens were used for presentations, company information, and general event content.
For audio, we installed a PA system using EV speakers, controlled via a digital mixing desk. This provided clear, consistent sound coverage for speakers and discussions.
We also supplied wireless handheld microphones, giving flexibility for presenters, panels, and Q&A sessions .
Simple, Effective Delivery
With multiple speakers and sessions throughout the day, the focus was on keeping everything easy to use and dependable. Presentation laptops and switching were set up to allow smooth transitions between speakers, with minimal disruption.
An AXL technician was onsite throughout to manage sound, visuals, and any changes during the event, ensuring everything stayed on track.
