FASTER Project Closure Event, Ballymascanlon Hotel, Dundalk

Team AXL supported the FASTER Project Closure Event at the Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort, bringing together stakeholders and partners to reflect on the outcomes and impact of the project.

The event focused on presentations, discussion, and sharing key learnings, so the setup needed to be clear, professional, and easy for speakers to use throughout the day.

The Setup

At the front of the room, we installed a 6m x 2.5m LED video wall, providing a strong visual focal point for presentations and video content. The size and clarity of the screen ensured all attendees had a clear view, regardless of where they were seated.

We built a 6m x 3m stage, finished with a black glass lectern, giving speakers a clean and professional platform for presenting. A comfort monitor was positioned to help presenters stay aligned with their content and timing.

For visuals, we supplied a vision mixing setup, presentation laptops, and a wireless clicker to keep transitions smooth and straightforward.

Audio & Delivery

Audio was delivered through a full PA system using EV speakers, controlled via a digital mixing desk.

We provided six wireless handheld microphones, along with a lectern microphone, giving flexibility for multiple speakers, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions .

Onsite Support

Two AXL technicians were onsite throughout the event, managing setup, live operation, and de-rig. From switching presentations to handling microphones and sound levels, everything was kept running smoothly behind the scenes.

A Strong Finish

The event ran cleanly from start to finish, providing a fitting close to the FASTER project. The setup was simple but effective — creating a professional environment that supported clear communication and engagement throughout the day.

Andrew Murray

Since starting out in the AV industry in 2015, I’ve always believed that great events come down to the people behind them. I spent several years freelancing across almost every AV company in Ireland, building experience and understanding what really matters on site. Like many in the industry, COVID brought a pause, but it also gave me the push to refocus and build something of my own.

Today, I’m focused on growing AXL into one of the leading AV production companies in Ireland. We now deliver AV for over 300 events each year, from smaller corporate meetings to large-scale productions. The aim is straightforward: do the job properly, be dependable, and help clients deliver events they can be proud of.
