Gemba Summit 2025, Titanic Belfast
Gemba Summit 2025
Almost 400 Lean practitioners from around the world gathered at Titanic Belfast for the Gemba Summit 2025 - a packed few days of learning, networking, and sharing ideas. Team AXL were onsite to support the event with full AV coverage across three key spaces: the Titanic Suite, the Britannic Suite, and The Bridge.
Titanic Suite – Main Sessions
The Titanic Suite was the central hub for keynote talks and larger sessions, so the AV setup needed to be clear, reliable, and easy for speakers to use.
We supplied a full audio system including a combination of L-acoustics wifo and X8 speakers, digital mixing via a Midas M32R, and a combination of handheld and headset microphones for flexibility during presentations and panels .
For visuals, the room included a pair of repeater dual 75” display screens, a Roland V8 vision mixer, a 4K camera, and a comfort monitor to keep presenters aligned with their content .
We also built a wraparound stage structure that sat neatly into the existing steps of the room, creating a clean, flush finish. This was paired with a digital display lectern to give speakers a modern and professional setup .
Lighting in the Titanic Suite included moving wash fixtures and LED profiles, giving us the ability to keep the stage bright and consistent throughout each session, while maintaining an inviting atmosphere in the room .
Britannic Suite - Breakout Space
The Britannic Suite was used for smaller group discussions and presentations. We installed a pair of 65” displays, a simple active speaker setup, and a digital lectern to keep the room clean and functional for presenters .
Wireless mics, a small digital mixer, laptops, and a USB clicker were also provided to keep sessions moving smoothly.
The Bridge – Additional Breakout Room
The Bridge hosted further breakout sessions and round-table discussions. The setup here mirrored the Britannic Suite — two 65” displays, compact EV speakers, a glass lectern, wireless microphones, and a laptop and clicker for presenters .
Everything was kept intentionally simple and reliable so speakers could focus on their content, not the tech.
Onsite Technical Support
Over the course of the event, our team covered load-in, setup, live operation, and de-rig, with technicians on the ground throughout each day to manage audio, lighting, visuals, and switching between sessions. We provided 3 staff members to be onsite throughout.
A Great Few Days at Titanic Belfast
Gemba Summit brought together a brilliant mix of industry leaders and Lean enthusiasts, and it was great to support an event so focused on learning and sharing ideas.
Across the three rooms, the AV setups were designed to be consistent, reliable, and easy to use — keeping the focus on speakers, conversations, and the community that makes events like this worthwhile.
