Lely Celebration Event, Parkgate

Team AXL supported the Lely Celebration Event in Parkgate, bringing together customers, partners, and the wider agricultural community for a day of connection and celebration.

The event combined presentations, networking, and live moments, so the setup needed to be professional, reliable, and flexible enough to support different parts of the day.

The Setup

At the centre of the space, we installed a 6m x 2.5m LED video wall, providing a strong visual focal point for presentations, branded content, and video playback. The LED wall helped bring clarity to the content while giving the event a polished, modern feel.

We built a simple stage setup with a black backdrop, keeping the focus on speakers while maintaining a clean and tidy look.

For audio, we supplied a PA system using EV speakers, alongside a Behringer X32 digital mixing desk. A combination of wireless headset microphones and a handheld microphone gave flexibility for different speakers and formats throughout the event .

Lighting & Atmosphere

Lighting was designed to complement the space and highlight the stage area. We used LED PAR wash lights to ensure speakers were clearly visible while adding some warmth to the overall setup.

Onsite Support

Two AXL technicians were onsite throughout the day, managing setup, live operation, and de-rig. From switching content to handling microphones and sound levels, everything was kept running smoothly behind the scenes.

A Strong Day for Lely

It was great to support the Lely team on this event. The setup was straightforward but effective — creating a professional environment that worked well for presentations and interaction throughout the day.

Another good example of how a clean, well-delivered AV setup can support an event without overcomplicating it.

Andrew Murray

Since starting out in the AV industry in 2015, I’ve always believed that great events come down to the people behind them. I spent several years freelancing across almost every AV company in Ireland, building experience and understanding what really matters on site. Like many in the industry, COVID brought a pause, but it also gave me the push to refocus and build something of my own.

Today, I’m focused on growing AXL into one of the leading AV production companies in Ireland. We now deliver AV for over 300 events each year, from smaller corporate meetings to large-scale productions. The aim is straightforward: do the job properly, be dependable, and help clients deliver events they can be proud of.
