The Royal Television Society Awards 2025 returned to Titanic Belfast for another standout evening celebrating the best in broadcast and production. It’s one of the high-profile events in the calendar, and Team AXL were onsite to support the awards with a full technical package that kept everything looking sharp and running smoothly.

Lighting and Atmosphere

Titanic Belfast is already an impressive venue, but events like this need that extra layer of polish. We supplied a lighting package designed to wash the main staircase and surrounding areas, adding depth and atmosphere as guests arrived. The lighting helped set the tone from the minute people walked in — warm, cinematic, and in keeping with the prestige of the occasion. We also had a follow-spot to track winners as they walked up to stage.

Audio for the Room

With award clips, walk-ups, stings, and VT segments forming a big part of the show, audio was crucial. We provided a complete PA system to ensure clear, even coverage across the room. Every VT needed to land cleanly, and speeches needed to be heard without compromise, so the system was designed and tuned specifically for the layout of Titanic Belfast’s event space.

Seamless Screen Integration

A big part of this event was integrating our systems with Titanic Belfast’s in-house AV. Our team handled the content pipeline so that graphics, VT packages, and live cues moved smoothly between systems and onto the venue’s screens. The goal was simple — no interruptions, no switching issues, just clean transitions throughout the show.

Teleprompter for the Host

As the face of the evening, Christine Lampard needed a reliable teleprompter setup to keep scripts flowing naturally. We provided and operated a professional teleprompter system, working closely with the production team to ensure everything was perfectly in sync with the running order.

A Strong Collaboration

The RTS Awards are always a polished, high-energy night, and this year was no different. Our crew were onsite throughout to manage lighting, audio, content playback, and teleprompt operation, ensuring the show ran exactly as planned.

It was a pleasure to support such a well-respected industry event once again — a brilliant team effort all round, and another great night at Titanic Belfast.
